This allowance is offered to officers and non-officers who do not have quarters given by PNP to live with their families.

The rank and location of the police personnel decide how much the allowance will be.

Clothing Allowance

To support the requirement of the police personnel’s uniform, this allowance is provided annually by the PNP. The amount depends on the rank and location of the personnel. 

On a daily basis, police personnel are ordered to wear their uniforms and to maintain a neat and clean uniform, they receive a monthly stipend, which is monthly at a rate of ₱200.00 for officers and non-officers.

Regular Subsistence Allowance

All the uniformed personnel get a stipend for daily meals and assist in covering the cost of meals. This stipend amounts is:

  • ₱150.00 per day
  • ₱4,500 per month

Hazard Pay

This is a compensation allowance for the often dangers (Hazards) a PNP personnel have to face due to the dangerous profession.

This allowance is fixed for all police personnel, which is at  ₱540.00 per month.

Laundry Allowance

These uniformed personnel have to wear neat uniforms daily for their public appearances, such as often required to attend ceremonies and assignments or other activities. For this, they can get a laundry allowance.

The laundry allowance rates are as follows:

Officers receive a payable amount of ₱60.00 per month.

Non-Officers also receive payable ₱30.00 per month.

To support the uniform personnel’s effort to maintain a neat and professional appearance, they receive this allowance.

Gratuity

The PNP personnel who have displayed exceptional bravery in the line of duty are awarded the Medal of Valor, which is an honorific title.

Those receiving this award are granted a monthly gratuity of ₱20,000.

Personnel Economic Relief Allowance (PERA)

Below the rank of Police Major, including PNPA cadets, receive this PERA monthly allowance of  ₱500.00. 

Due to high prices, an additional allowance of  ₱1,500.00 is also given to the PNP personnel, making the total PERA allowance ₱2,000.00 per month.

Hospital Subsistence Allowance

This allowance is received by the uniform personnel while admitted to the PNP hospital/dispensaries.

Hospital Subsistence Allowance is for their daily subsistence and also intended to cover the cost of their daily free meals that are given to them regularly. The allowance is ₱30.00 per day.

Civil Disturbance Control (CDC) Subsistence Allowance

This is an additional allowance of ₱30.00 daily given to the uniformed personnel involved in Civil Disturbance Control operations.

Training Subsistence Allowance

This allowance is given to personnel for undergoing local training in the PNP training college, AFP, a local educational institution, or OJT.

In addition to regular subsistence allowance, Training Subsistence Allowance is provided to support their career or professional advancement. 

The per day rate of this allowance is ₱30.00 and is collected by the school for the full course duration.

Combat Duty Pay (CDP)

The police personnel who participate in police operations are provided a prearranged allowance of ₱3,000.00 monthly.

Combat Incentive Pay (CIP)

The police personnel who are actively involved in physical confrontations against Rebellious, armed and illegal groups are qualified for combat incentive pay of ₱300.00 daily under the following circumstances:

  • The mission must be a particular combat that is given by higher authorities.

  • The PNP personnel participating in the combat must be included in the official task structure outlined in the PNP Mission Order.

  • Each personnel’s total combat pay should not be more than per month ₱3,000.00. The CIP is in addition to ₱3,000.00 CDP for eligible personnel.

Radiation Hazard Pay

This is an additional allowance provided to skilled personnel whose work involves higher-than-normal exposure to radioactive materials.

This allowance should not be more than 15% of their base pay by rank.

Hazardous Duty Pay

This allowance is for the personnel who are often involved in particular dangers or elements or involved in dangerous jobs that present a threat to life, loss of limb or decrease in health. This allowance is 50% of the base pay by rank.

Specialist Pay

This is for the qualified non-officer personnel who have proven their capability and effectiveness in specialized police duties and areas but are not assigned to critical missions.

Sea Duty Pay

This pay is provided to all uniform personnel assigned to PNP units working for law enforcement jobs in coastal, inland and territorial waters.

PNP Maritime Command personnel get 25% of their base pay per month, which is paid at the quarter or end of every month.

Flying Pay

Flying pay is provided to the PNP crew members and pilots whose job is regular and frequent flights.

This allowance is 50% of their base pay, and only eligible personnel are ones who meet the 4 hours of monthly flight time requirement.

Capital Region Command (CAPCOM) Incentive Pay

This allowance is given by the special mission and function of CAPCOM within its service area, Metro Manila.

This is offered to all the personnel of CAPCOM, whether they are working in one of the 5 commands under police districts.This regular pay per month is ₱2.50 or ₱75.00.

Special Clothing Allowance

This allowance is given to those uniform personnel who have to appear publicly on a regular basis to attend ceremonies or are assigned to work or units that require them to look presentable at all times.

The allowance is 

₱300 for PCOs 

₱150 for PNCOs 

For maintenance of the uniform, an additional sum is changed, which is:

₱80 for PCOs 

₱40 for PNCOs

Initial Clothing Allowance (ICA)

This allowance is given to all the freshers (whether as PCO or PNCO), which is  ₱20,000.00.

Replacement Clothing Allowance (RCA)

At the time of enlistment, after three consecutive years of service, payment will be given.

The RCA rates will undergo the following modifications:

Burial Allowance

This allowance is intended to provide financial assistance to the deceased PNP uniformed personnel’s family (without counting the cause of death).

The new allowance will be implemented in a progressive rate scheme, where the amount of PBB provided increases proportionately to the extent of responsibility and participation in the improvement of the agency’s efficiency.

Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI)

The qualified government employees will get ₱5,000 to enhance their efficiency. This amount shall not be issued earlier than 15 December of every year.

Rice Subsidy

This allowance is equal to ₱650.00 or 20 kilograms of rice provided every month.
